Julie Caitlin Brown (billed as Caitlin Brown) played Na'Toth in first
season. Unfortunately, due to difficulties associated with the extensive
makeup, she did not reprise the role in second season. Mary Kay Adams (boo,
hiss) took over the role. Creative differences between what jms envisioned
for the character and how Ms Adams played her (she promptly turned Na'Toth
into a wuss) lead to Na'Toth being written out of the series. Hence, when
I talk about Na'Toth, I am talking about Julie's fiery and gorgeous Na'Toth,
not the pathetic wussy one.
It is a great pity that Julie was unable to play Na'Toth throughout
B5's run - there were so many opportunities for the character to develop,
but that is the way the cookie crumbles.
Soon this space will be filled with a picture or two of Julie, but you'll
have to wait a little while.
In the meantime, you'll have to put up with an interview
and a bio.
